Subhabrata Panda is an eminent academic and practitioner in Soil and Water Conservation, serving as Assistant Professor at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), the State Agricultural University of West Bengal, India. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, he has seamlessly integrated research, extension, and teaching, leaving a lasting mark on the agricultural sciences.
His scholarly work includes his association with the All India Coordinated Research Project on Agroforestry under the aegis of ICAR–Central Agroforestry Research Institute (CAFRI). A prolific contributor to scientific literature, Dr. Panda has authored seventy publications, including two landmark volumes with Springer Nature on Soil and Water Conservation (2022) and Agroforestry (2025), reflecting his commitment to advancing sustainable land-use systems and regenerative agricultural practices.
