Prof. Andriy Grafov

Andriy Grafov is a chemist and project coordinator at the HELCOM Secretariat, where he works on environmental and marine research initiatives, including projects related to underwater munitions in the Black Sea. He has over 15 years of experience coordinating multidisciplinary European research projects under programmes such as FP7, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe. Grafov’s scientific background spans inorganic, organic, and polymer chemistry, with a particular focus on advanced materials and nanotechnology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and has held academic and research positions across Europe and beyond.
