Maja Smrekar
Artist
Maja Smrekar is educated in sculpture and video at The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. As an artist, she has used her voice to speak about ecofeminism, interspecies relations, posthumanism, technology and ideological structures in society. In her artistic work, she draws inspiration from ecology, ethology, AI, robotics, biotechnology, reproductive medicine, molecular biology, etc.
