Patrizia Toia is an Italian politician and member of the European Parliament for North-West with Democratic Party, part of the group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats.
In the European Parliament, she serves as the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. She is also a member of the delegation for Northern cooperation and for relations with Switzerland and Norway, to the EU-Iceland Joint Parliamentary Committee, and the European Economic Area (EEA) Joint Parliamentary Committee.
