José Andrés Giménez

José Andrés Giménez is an Industrial Engineer (Polytechnic University of Valencia, 2005) with 20 years of experience developing innovation and research projects in port logistics and maritime transport. His expertise focuses on improving the efficiency of logistics and port operations through Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and process automation.

He is currently Director of Port Logistics at the Valenciaport Foundation (Port of Valencia), where he is responsible for managing and developing innovation projects.

He is also Secretary General of the international Terminal Industry Committee (TIC4.0), which brings together global container terminal operators, port machinery manufacturers and digital solution developers. TIC4.0 promotes operational and technological standardization across the port sector and the international integration of innovation within the industry.
