Julia Pahl

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Julia Pahl studied Business Administration at the University of Hamburg and received her doctoral degree with the Institute of Information Systems of the same university. After work experiences at IBM (Hamburg), the European Space Agency (Frascati), Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. (Cologne), Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC), Hamburg, and Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services (Hamburg-Harburg), she joined the University of Southern Denmark (Odense) in 2015. Her research fields are operations research in production and supply chain planning and data science currently mainly applied in maritime logistics and maintenance applications. She is the Principal Investigator of the EU Horizon project MISSION and is very active in building further consortia for EU Horizon calls in the field of maritime logistics
