Mohamed Tahar Elaieb is a Tunisian academic and researcher who specialises in forestry and the promotion of forest products. He has a PhD in Wood Sciences and a degree in Forestry Engineering, combining solid academic expertise with extensive field experience. He is currently Acting Director General of the National Institute for Research in Rural Engineering, Water and Forests (INRGREF) and leads research on the resilience of forest and agroforestry ecosystems, silviculture, and the optimisation of wood and cork resources.
