Agnė Marcinkevičiūtė is a Lithuanian documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, and director with over two decades of experience in film and television. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts and has created numerous documentary films exploring cultural memory, identity, and social themes. In recent years, her artistic focus has shifted toward sustainability and environmental issues. Her current documentary project, “The Sea Begins Here,” is her third work dedicated to ecological themes. The film explores human impact on marine ecosystems and follows environmental initiatives around the Baltic Sea.
Previously, she directed “Let’s Talk About Sustainability” (2023) and its continuation, “Let’s Talk About Sustainability 2.0” (2025), documentaries examining sustainable lifestyles, environmental responsibility, and the relationship between individual choices and systemic change. Her work combines poetic visual storytelling with social and environmental reflection, bridging art, science, and community engagement.
