Svetoslav Stoykov

Svetoslav Stoykov leads the building renovation campaign at Za Zemiata – Friends of the Earth Bulgaria. His current work focuses on the renovation of single-family homes and the development of integrated home renovation services (One-Stop Shops) across Bulgaria, with particular emphasis on supporting rural households.

He brings experience from both academia and industry, with expertise in energy efficiency, HVAC, the circular economy, and biomimicry. Svetoslav has been involved in numerous projects related to energy efficiency and sustainability in public and commercial buildings, as well as, industrial premises.

For the past three years, he has also co-led an elective course titled Circular Models in Construction at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
