Vishal Kumar

Vishal Kumar is the CEO of Waste Warriors Society, a decade-old non-profit catalyzing systemic change to solve the waste management crisis in the Indian Himalayan Region. With a team of 150+ Warriors spread across various locations nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, they strive to enable access to effective waste management services in urban and rural areas, with a special focus on eco-sensitive and tourist areas. Vishal holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Materials Science and Technology from IIT (BHU) Varanasi and has over seven years of experience in the waste management sector.
