Mithilesh Kumar Mishra

Mithilesh Kumar Mishra is currently the Unit Head (Knowledge and Planning) with the State Mission for Clean Ganga-Uttar Pradesh, contributing to the Namami Gange Program. This initiative aims to clean and restore the sanctity of the River Ganga and its tributaries. With a robust background as a Water, Environment, and Development Expert, Mishra brings approximately twenty-seven years of professional experience to the table.

Throughout his career, he has worked with state governments, corporate entities, and the social sector, leading projects in various areas such as rural water supply, land acquisition, environmental governance, wastewater treatment, and river rejuvenation. A staunch advocate of public participation, Mishra has conducted numerous Social Impact Assessment studies and implemented several environmentally friendly measures to enhance local conditions. His deep respect for nature and commitment to walking alongside Mother Earth underscore his efforts to improve environmental health and sustainability.
