Giuseppe Peronato

Giuseppe joined Idiap Research Institute as a postdoctoral researcher in the Energy Informatics group in September 2020. He holds a PhD from EPFL (2019) with a thesis on urban photovoltaic potential, and Bachelor and Master degrees in Architecture from Iuav University of Venice (2011 and 2014). He has previous experience as a postdoc at Uppsala University, and as a energy and climate consultant in a building engineering firm. His research interests are at the intersection of geoinformation, energy and urban sciences.
