Elisa Gambuzzi is a chemist with a Ph.D. in Materials Modelling. After a career chapter in the academia on silicate glasses for nuclear waste containment and biomedical applications, she switched to more interdisciplinary approaches. From very young age, she committed to amelioratege global social, environmental and technological settings, nowadays she employs her skills to foster the transition to a circular economy model, with special focus on bioeconomy, enabling technologies, business models and stakeholder engagement. She’s a senior project manager at the Institute of Technology for Energy and Environment (CETENMA), in Cartagena (Spain).
