Dr. Tuğba Evrim Maden

Dr. Tuğba Evrim Maden is a senior expert in water policy, transboundary waters, and hydropolitics, with over 25 years of experience and a multidisciplinary background that bridges engineering, social sciences, and policy analysis. She completed her B.Sc. in Hydrogeological Engineering at Hacettepe University, followed by an M.A. focusing on water issues in Cyprus, and earned her Ph.D. from Ankara University with a thesis on the EU Water Framework Directive and transboundary waters, using the Maritsa (Meriç) River as a case study.
